Did we just become best friends!?

I AM JAYLEN ELIZABETH

At my core, I am a lover of raw emotion, unwavering devotion, and dramatic notions. yeah, I can rhyme too.

from a very young age I have been completely enamored by European-inspired life, art, fashion, and architecture. The way art speaks volumes without saying a word and how moments of time have been captured so vastly different throughout time.

photography to me is so much more than preserving a moment. it is the ability in which to preserve the feeling that I am drawn to so intensely .

I approach every wedding with a fresh eye, intention, and a lot of imagination. My style blends natural storytelling with  an editorial eye- documenting  the moments that unfold on their own while creating alongside you—bringing in thoughtful direction, movement, and an artistic touch when the moment calls for it.

Working with both film and digital, I’m inspired by old-world beauty, fashion, art, and the little details that make your day feel like yours. My goal is simple: to create photographs that feel personal, artful, and full of life—images that let you feel it all over again.

what inspires me?

where do I begin? inspiration is all around me. from the movement of fabrics and textiles, the gut wrenching stroke of a paintbrush, emotive music, to European architecture that feels forgotten yet lingers in our everyday life.

I am touched by uniqueness.

the poetry of it all-

I believe the most meaningful photographs live somewhere between what happens naturally and what we dare to create. My approach is rooted in storytelling, but guided by an editorial eye—observing the quiet, fleeting moments while also knowing when to step in, direct, and turn an idea into something you can feel.

I approach every wedding with a fresh perspective. I never want your photographs to feel like a formula or a recreation of something I’ve done before. Your people, your surroundings, what you wear, the way the light falls, even the smallest details become part of the inspiration. I want to understand your world and create from within it.

I’ve always been fascinated by the beauty of another time—old photographs, European architecture, fashion, paintings, cinema, and the romance of things made with intention. Those influences find their way into my work, reimagined through a modern lens rather than simply recreated.

Some moments call for nothing more than my presence. Others invite us to play—to move, experiment, chase an idea, or create something unexpected. That balance of documentation and imagination is where I feel most at home.

To me, a wedding is more than a collection of beautiful moments. It’s a world that exists for one day, filled with people, movement, emotion, objects, traditions, and details that may never exist together in quite the same way again.

Years from now, I want your photographs to give you more than a memory of how everything looked. I want them to remind you of the atmosphere in the room, the people surrounding you, the energy, the anticipation, and all the little things you didn’t realize you would miss.

Some images will be imperfect and full of movement. Others will feel composed enough to belong on the pages of a magazine. Together, they become something more important: a visual record of your story, created with intention and made to be felt.

Because ultimately, I’m not interested in simply preserving what something looked like.

I want to preserve—and create—how it felt.

My philosophy

i believe in visual feeling with a touch of the unexpected

I’m drawn to imagery that makes you feel something—whether through an honest moment, an intentional composition, or an idea we create entirely from imagination. I approach each wedding with a fresh eye, blending natural storytelling with an editorial perspective and leaving room for movement, emotion, and the beautifully unplanned.

I want to create a visual world around how it felt—personal to you, artful in its own right, and never quite like anything else.

we are a good fit if...

You cherish the little details, are drawn to old world charm, share the affinity between nostalgic film and editorial direction, love unique fashion and statements pieces incorporated into timeless display.... and above all else...share the desire to create... to fill the spaces in between with raw emotion and slowed pace.

In order to create something so authentically you, it is important for me to know the real you.

I am someone who Is determined to be your best friend and voice of reason. I am very laid back, easily the biggest antiqueaholic you know, and will be your biggest advocate for movie soundtracks.

If you are an adventurer but love to be a homebody and express your inner Martha Stewart on occasion....then I know for a fact we are a match.

my faith

My faith is the essence of who I am. without Jesus I am nothing. He has given me the ability and the gifts I possess and it is with that in which I honor him. I take every client, every job, every moment seriously. with intention. to the best of my ability. without knowing Jesus the weight of what these moments mean would not have the same effect. it is through knowing my father that I am able to serve you in such deep compassion and emotion.

relationships

it is my desire to create lasting relationships and touch the heart of those around me. human connection is such a strong desire and we all need it. we crave it. you are important to me. you are not just another job or another client. it is my hope that you will be a friend and be consumed with the love and care I so desperately want you to feel.

Ready to create?

Let’s get to know one another
can't wait to hear all of the details :)
