"Our gallery looked like it was ripped straight out of a dream. Beautiful, artistic work. she captured unreal moments. Highly recommend!"

Working with Jaylen was genuinely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I knew I loved her work before we booked her, but I don’t think I fully understood how much of a difference the right photographer would make until our actual wedding day.
From the beginning, she understood exactly what I was trying to describe—even when I didn’t necessarily have the words for it. I wanted our photos to feel editorial and beautiful, but I was really afraid of them feeling overly posed or like we were trying too hard. I wanted the fashion and artistry of an editorial without losing the emotion of the day, and somehow she gave us exactly that.
On the wedding day, Jaylen was such a calming presence. Neither my husband nor I are naturally comfortable in front of a camera, and that was probably one of my biggest worries going into the day. She gave us direction without making us feel like we were constantly being posed. There were moments where she would adjust something small—where I was standing, the way I was holding my dress, where to look—and then other moments where she completely stepped back and just let things happen. Looking through our gallery, I honestly don't know how she managed to capture some of the moments she did because I don't even remember seeing her there.
That is probably my favorite thing about our photos. They actually feel like our wedding.
There are photographs of moments I didn't even realize were happening until I saw them afterward. It feels like she documented not only what the day looked like, but what it felt like to be there.
And then there are the portraits. I genuinely cannot believe some of them are us. They feel like stills from an old film or photographs I could have found in an editorial, but they still feel completely like *us*. Nothing feels trendy for the sake of being trendy. There is this romantic, nostalgic quality to them that makes me feel like I could look at them 30 years from now and still love them just as much.
Our wedding photographs already feel like heirlooms to me. They aren't just beautiful pictures from a day we loved. They feel like pieces of our lives that we'll eventually show our children and hopefully our grandchildren.
I would choose her again without hesitation. If you care deeply about photography and want your wedding documented in a way that feels artful while still being honest to who you are, book her. I am so grateful we did.
